Welcome to my website
Photography has been a part (serious hobby) of my life almost as long as has farming. Our family has raised registered Holsteins since 1887 which is not long after photography was born. Of course I was not around to see the beginning of either event Looking for strong images has been my goal in each of the categories here: Creative, Travel, People, Nature and Agriculture. I purposely do not try to portray the obscene, sordid or morally dehumanizing images because there is too much of that emphasized. I like to accentuate the beautiful, peaceful, relational, and uplifting views because of the joy they bring to my life.
I have been published in various venues including agricultural trade journals such as Successful Farming, American Agriculturist, AgriMark and Ford New Holland News; Vermont Life (magazine, books, calendars, etc.); Down East; Creation Illustrated; Orvis Catalogue; Country Kids; and a variety of other calendars, local brochures and town reports.
